When I was a cute little chick I had a lot of hopes and dreams. The other animals in the barnyard were important to me and so I tried to include them in those hopes and dreams. You know I love to bugaaawwwk! I mean bake. My dream was to have an endless supply of flour to bake beautiful bread and cakes and cookies.
What Libertarians didn’t count on was they way legalizing pot would shore up the current efforts in blue states, and at the federal level, to incrementally disarm Americans–that is to literally take away their firearms and leave them passive and without means of defense against either criminals, foreign invaders, or their own government.
Effect 2: Election 2012 has served to dishearten patriots and Conservatives across the country. The utter astonishment experienced by those of us who worked the ground game for Mitt Romney, as we watched the swing states being ripped perversely away from the voice of the people via vote fraud, is still with us. The compounded trauma of watching our Republican Party leadership roll over like Michael Vick’s dogs after a losing round of dog fighting still stings. We feel wiped out and betrayed.
One of the reasons people hesitate to stock their pantries and fruit cellars with shelf-stable foods that will provide essential nutrition during a time of economic downturn or man man or natural disaster is the idea that canned food is gross and boring.
